Men's and Women's Open

The Lake Norman Open Championship is located in Mooresville, NC and will be played on October 25-26, 2025. Our goal is to provide your team with an organized and fun weekend, with a positive environment that encourages sportsmanship and competition. Offering an adult reception on Saturday night at a local brewery, vendors, Carpetbagger unique swag, good lacrosse, good friends and even better memories!

Mazeppa Rd Park has fields conveniently located adjacent to one another with 2 lighted well maintained Bermuda grass fields and 4 lighted turf fields at Mazeppa Rd Park (645 Mazeppa Rd, Mooresville, NC 28115)

Benefits of a Carpetbagger Event:

  1. All fields will have dedicated experienced field managers to keep score and penalty/game time.
  2. Licensed trainer on site at all times.
  3. Over 13 years of experience running some of the finest tournaments in the Southeast.

We will field the following divisions to align with other adult events across the country.

Cost per team is $1100, pay plans available.

All teams are guaranteed at least 4 games (All teams play two games on Saturday and Sunday.  Top two seeds play in championship game on Sunday.)

Tournament Rules

Event Rules:

  • Two 20 min running halves, 3 min halftime
  • One time-out per team per game, can be taking at anytime, clock stops.
  • Penalty time is real time, starts at restart of game.
  • No take-out hits
  • One 4 min sudden victory OT.   One time out per team in OT.
  • Normal field rules.
